LOST Video Game Announced! - UPDATE

WELCOME TO THE REAL EXPERIENCE!

Hello everyone. Do not be confused when you first see this place. If you ask then we will do what we can to help you. We will try and listen and be friendly if you do the same in return.

PLOT:

You are on the plane from London to New York. You can be of any nationality- you just need a reason to be in the UK and a reason to be travelling to America. Suddenly not long through the trip there is turbulance. The air hostesses try and keep you all calm and say that theres nothing to worry about. Then there's more turbulance and the seat belt sign comes on. People start to panic and get scared.
Eventually you crash on a island. It's deserted- as far as you can tell. Eventually there are noises heard from within the jungle...and it doesn't sound human. It sounds dangerous and it's not long before it does some real damage.
Then one day there are more threats. People this time. People from already on the island- and they don't seem a friendly bunch. Over a course of time they kidnap, murder and terroise you and your new friends. Will they ever be stopped? Will you ever be rescued?
And yet you can't help but think that it reminds you of a certain TV show. But that was fiction. Its not real....Or is it?

DETAILS:

This is a main RPG so it is ONGOING. Therefore your character can only be in one place at a time. Which means you can only be in one thread at a time.

Your character is based on YOU. The whole point of this RPG is that the character is based on you and that it is you who are roleplaying and experiencing life on the island. If you really don't want to roleplay you then you may roleplay a fictional character but we would really prefer you roleplay yourself. If there are any details you do not wish to mention then that is fine.

This RPG is not exactly LOST. It is based on LOST but this is the real experience. This is you experiencing it. This is the real thing. LOST is a TV show in this reality, yet everything that happened on that island seems to be happening for real to you.

Ok, I'm planning on starting the RPG real soon. I think that It'll be ok to start with the number we have at the moment and that actually starting the roleplay will attract more members later on.

Roleplay will start at the airport and we board the plane when one of the mods says 'it is time.' which will be when I think it is the right time to move on

I think at the moment we should all be in the mid-section part of the plane but If anybody has any ideas or wants to begin the RPG alone and join up with the rest of us later please reply in potential plots

I think everyone should be in the mid-section because that means if more people join, they can be taillie survivors, or cockpit survivors if necessary (for people who join really late).

Natalie, one other thing you need to do is decide the official date of the crash. It was kind of decided in the last thread to be in the summer holidays... if this is still happening you need to decide several things. Firstly, it would be really good to get an active time-chart thing, meaning that it is really clear to everyone what day it is on the RPG, and what date is in in "real time." So, if we are crashing around this time, then it would be great to have an actual date. This brings one question: what year does the crash occur? Will it be the summer of 2007, or the summer of 2006? Or the summer of 69!

Joking, about the last one!

Ok, people this is where all the idea's come together to make one big potato pie! (sorry feeling kind of random O_o ))

So, I need everyone's thoughts on this. As i am making this so that all the members get a say. Mainly because i want you all to have freedom of speech but also because I need a little help with it.....

Ok so what do you think? What I would have liked was the date of the crash to be around the time we start the RPG but theres the issue with work and school etc. So the summer holidays would be the obvious choice really...And I think i would say 2006 as summer 2007 is quite a way away still...

Um, yet this brings more problems: People who have met each other might want to know each other on the island , but what if they met after the summer? I suggest people who know each other and are wondering whether to meet up on the island should reply in potential plots. Also maybe if that whole problem with the knowing each other after the summer thing should just be ignored as the details of when they met might not be mentioned much if at all.

As i type this I realise that it might make no sense at all :S So I really hope you all understand and reply here if you dont..
